Led by the solid pitching of Brayden Ogden and Shane Moro, Warwick PAL beat Scituate, 8-1. Ogden and Moro combined for 15 strikeouts while surrendering only three hits.

Jack Cirelli and Austin Wheeler provided two hits a piece to power the offense for Warwick.

Led by the solid pitching of Wizard graduate Logan Dean (pictured), the West Warwick Connie Mack team (1-1-1) beat Flood Ford, 7-2, in a game played at Bishop Hendricken.

Dean, who did not allow an earned run, struck out eight batters and gave up only two hits in five innings of work.

Leading 1-0 in the top of the third inning, WWCM built a 4-0 lead on
Josh Pedus rbi double and a Mason Hunt singled, scoring
Nick Andruchow, Anthony Burt and Pedus.

The Orange and Black stole nine bases with Andruchow and Dylan Provoyeur leading the team with multiple steals.

Offensively, WWCM was led by Mason Hunt (2/2, one rbi, one run and one walk), Josh Pedus (rbi double), Nick Andruchow (1/3, one run scored), Dylan Provoyeur (1/2, one run scored) and Welmer Montilla-Cruz (rbi single).

West Warwick received solid relief pitching from Zack Lawrence and Jack Proulx. The duo did not allow a hit in two innings of relief.

Trailing 5-1 in the top of the fifth inning, Slocum Baseball Club came from behind to defeat P-K Landscaping of Smithfield, 10-9.

Ronan Gately (pictured )had a key three-run home run to enable SBC to take the lead, 6-5.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Matthew Carroll’s two-run double put PK back on top, 7-6.

Slocum opportunistically scored three runs on a wild pitch and a groundout by Will Creed for a 9-7 lead in the top of the sixth inning.

Will Clarke (2/3, two runs), Dan Napoli (2/4, two runs), Will Creed (2/3, one run), and Dan Swanson (2/4) highlighted a 12-hit attack for Slocum.

Matt Carroll and Josh Turner each had two hits for Smithfield.

On Monday, Slocum Baseball Club travels to Smithfield to take on P-K Landscaping.

Led by the hitting of Xavier Nelson (2/2, one double & one run scored), Alex DeTomasis (rbi single), Ayaan Modi (rbi single) and Ace Schwarzbach, (rbi single), the Avengers held off a late game rally by Slocum Baseball for a 7-5 victory .
